Pushpavalli brings ancientwisdom to modern education.
Inspired by her family and a belief in every child's potential, Pushpavalli has spent more than two decades connecting India's learning traditions with contemporary educational science.
Her journey began at Rishi Gurukulam and the study camps of Rishi Samskrti Vidya Kendra (RSVK), exploring memory, rhythm, and learning through direct practice. She founded Prapoorna Children's Club, developed her curriculum work at DRS International, 1st IB School of India, and went on to serve as Chief of Academics, Consultant at Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions.
An MSc in Psychology and further learning through CQUniversity, Harvard University, Columbia University, and IIM Calcutta deepened her understanding of learning and leadership. These experiences inform Prapoorna NeuroVidya and its flagship Mavericks Learning Approach, bringing together Indian educational wisdom, neuroscience, and classroom practice to develop understanding, confidence, and creativity.
Her work spans curriculum innovation, teacher development, and student achievements including four world records. It has taken her to international platforms in Johannesburg and brought recognition at the House of Lords, London. Through Prapoorna Foundation, she extends that commitment beyond classrooms, creating opportunities for children and communities, with the next generation at the heart of her purpose.

Discovering another way to learn
At Rishi Gurukulam and RSVK study camps, Pushpavalli explored memory, rhythm and peer learning. These experiences began her continuing enquiry into how children learn.
In 2005, she founded Prapoorna Children’s Club. Chanting, yoga and meditation accompanied schoolwork, prompting new questions about children’s focus, confidence and readiness to learn.

Connecting practice with curriculum
At DRS International, 1st IB School of India, she worked with IB curriculum frameworks, teachers and families, exploring how her earlier learning practices could fit within a mainstream school.
Her studies in child psychology, cognitive science and educational neuroscience complement years of direct work with children. These connections inform Prapoorna Neurovidya.
Joining Sri Chaitanya in 2009, she progressed through academic leadership roles, developing curriculum, preparing teachers and building learning systems across the school network.
The Mavericks Learning Approach brings her work into everyday classrooms at Sri Chaitanya, connecting memory, engagement and experiential learning with curriculum and teacher preparation.
Her work includes four world record events and recognition for educational leadership, including the Indo-UK Leadership Award presented at the House of Lords, London.
Through Prapoorna Foundation, she extends her work to children and communities. Its seven wings connect education, wellbeing and Indian cultural traditions.
At an international education summit in Johannesburg, she represented Sri Chaitanya’s learning methodologies and online teaching innovations, taking her educational work to a wider audience.
